Artist Statement:
With all the art being created out there centered around the war between Israel and Hamas- I wanted to create something not about the war itself, or about pain and suffering, or even about “Israel”. Instead I wanted to create a piece that conveys how proud I am to be Jewish. Look at this collage of all the most incredible Jewish people that existed. This piece only shows around 70, but trust me the list expands way further. We as Jews represent only .02% of the world population. 16 million Jews out of the 8 billion people on earth. Think about this for one second, there are over 2 billion Muslims in this world. If just 1% of them sympathize and support Hamas, that amounts to more terrorist supporters than there are Jews worldwide. That is why it is so important to me to be proud to be Jewish. Support your Jewish friends. Because truth is, right now us Jews feel out numbered.
